The History of Guitar in America: The Road to Rock N’ Roll, Part 1
Episode 17
Episode date - June 14, 2024
It took us a while to get to this point in our story (16 hours/shows, to be exact) but we have reached the point where the future seems inevitable.
Guitar players in the late ‘40s could never have known the influence that they would have on the state of music in the future, but it’s impossible to overestimate their influence on what came after them.
This is our first set (in this specific series) on the formation of rock and roll as a style in and of itself, and these guitarists specifically reference the roots that caused it to happen.
